SUNDAYS ARE FOR BRUNCH AND FOOD COMA

Daily Roast Brunch and Soy Latte from Homer Street Cafe
September has been one hell of a month and we're only a little past the half way mark. Don't get me wrong here, I don't mean "hell" like it's been a bad month, I mean "hell" as in it's been rad AF. Like how people say bad, but actually mean good - yeah, that's what I mean. Anyway, the point is it's been a wicked month filled with a lot of excitement. I've moved into my own apartment (currently furnishing - tour coming soon), launched my blog and I'm now in the middle of planning a private launch party for it. And let's also not forget that a ton of my friends decided to be born in September, so there have been a few dinner parties within the last couple of weeks. I mean, this is a lot of work if you're a secret sloth like me whose weekends are usually filled with doing nothing other than stuffing your face, hiding under a duvet, and binge watching TV shows on Netflix.
With all of these projects on the go it's so easy to forget to take a moment and enjoy the luxuries of moving at a slower pace - which is exactly what I decided to do this weekend. Just me, good company, and some carbs. Okay, maybe a lot of carbs! I knew that I'd be rocking a food baby after brunch, so I decided to wear an oversized pinstripe shirt to hide her. I matched the shirt with a pair of light washed Levi's to streamline the entire look and of course I never go anywhere without my favourite metal cuffs from The Haute Pursuit. Looking like a fugitive is so in (jokes).
